Please learn the music from the scanned documents below as there may be some differences from recordings - however if you would like to check you're on the right track - most of the songs can be found on YouTube here. If you have trouble accessing any of the files please email us. Excerpts from the script will be given to you on the day.

If you have accessibility requirements around stairs please email us at mad.thames@gmail.com and we'll arrange to be downstairs for your audition.

Our preference is to audition in person however if you cannot make these dates please video your audition and email it through to mad.thames@gmail.com. Kids please film any required songs and dance (below), adults please film the required songs (below). Please also fill out this form and send in a scan or photo of it with your audition videos (if you are auditioning in person we will have copies for you to fill out on the day of your audition). Please note auditions must be sent in by midday on Sunday 10 November.

All student and Dewey auditions on Saturday 9 Nov.

All adult roles on Sunday 10 Nov.

Call backs 16 & 17 Nov.

Kids

Kids will be asked to sing, dance and read lines at their auditions (lines will be given on the day), if you are auditioning for Freddy, Zack, Katie or Lawrence you will also need to play an instrument. Please check the music scans below for the pieces we would like to hear at auditions. Please only learn the bars of the song indicated at the top of the scan as we will not have time to go through the whole song. Not all characters need to learn additional pieces - if you are auditioning for a specific character we may get you to read as them at auditions, so please have a think about how you would play them.

Parents/guardians please come into the audition waiting room to fill out part of the audition form (given to fill out on the day).

Adults

All adults will need to sing and read lines at their auditions (lines will be given on the day). People auditioning for Dewey will also need to play guitar. Please check the sections of songs below and make sure you are learning the right parts for the character(s) you are auditioning for. Please only learn the bars of the song indicated at the top of the scan as we will not have time to go through the whole song. We may ask you to do some movement at auditions however you do not need to learn any choreography at this stage. Not all characters need to learn additional pieces for their auditions.
